Pronounced "Jay-En"
Born in Oslo, Norway to a Mexican father and Norwegian mother. 49% Mexican 49% Norwegian, 2% Sea Serpent. Unclear provenance, eyewitnesses inconsistent.
Her father was a musician on a rowboat headed to Norway from Mexico. Upon arrival, he got lost and the boat and crew left without him, stranding him in Norway. He took what he had and started a restaurant on a street corner. On his way out to hunt for food, he ran into a 50 foot tall polar bear... which is large for a bear. He was batted down with all the force of the bears might, face first in the snow. As he struggled to rise, because who wouldn't, his hands felt some rusted metal beneath the snow. He wrapped his fingers around the hilt and heard the words "Use it!". It was the legendary polar bear slaying axe Bjørnhugger! He pulled it from a root of Yggdrasil itself and swung at the bear, thwarting its attack. As the bear scurried off with a missing finger, he heard a faint scream from behind. As he looked up, a skier who had wandered off the path and launched into the ravine was hurdling towards him. By the grace of Odin himself, he was able to catch her with one hand because he was holding the axe in his other hand. I guess they ended up living happily ever after or something. Oh and J'en was born after an attack on a longboat by the offspring of the great serpent Jörmungandr, the not-so-great serpent, Joe. True story. J'en likes to take pictures of nature.
